The University of Memphis women’s golf team tied for seventh place in the 18-team competition at the Tulane Classic Presented by Chad Brownstein on Tuesday with a score of 927 (+63). No. 47-ranked Purdue won the tournament, played at the English Turn & Country Club with a total of 897 (+33).
Some of the highlights from the University of Memphis women golfers include Junior Rebecca Brink, who led the Tigers’ effort at the tournament, placing in a tie for 25th place with a score of 230 (+14). Brink carded rounds of 76-78-76 over the course of three days. Sophomore Katie Stinchcomb tied for 35th with a total of 233 (+17), while senior Victoria England tied for 42nd with a score of 235 (+19).
